P.E.E.L 框架

P.E.E.L = Point → Explanation → Example → Link。這是 IV. 想法與組織 最重要的結構。掌握它能撐起每個主要答案。

它代表什麼

總：4–6 句 = 約 30–60 秒發言。正好是討論一回合的長度。

實戰例子

問題："羅密歐與朱麗葉最重要的教訓是什麼？"

步	範例
P	"最重要的教訓是父母拒絕聆聽會失去孩子。"
E	"當父母不經對話強加決定，年輕人覺得別無選擇只能反抗——甚至以極端方式。"
E	"劇中 Lord Capulet 在幾天內強迫 Juliet 嫁給 Paris。他沒問她感受。Juliet 的回應是喝下讓她跟家族關係'死亡'的藥水——最終也奪走她的命。"
L	"這正是今天香港父母強推特定大學專業或職業時發生的事。強迫的選擇不帶來尊重——只帶來距離。莎士比亞 400 年前警告我們，我們還沒學會。"

整段出聲讀 ~55 秒。

各部分的意義

P — Point

考官需要在前 10 秒知道你的陳述。沒有清晰 Point，餘下漂浮。

弱："I want to talk about parents in Romeo and Juliet…"（不是陳述）

強："Parents who refuse to listen end up losing their children."（清晰陳述）

E — Explanation

解釋給出 Point 的邏輯——"為什麼"。

弱："…and that's just how it is."（無邏輯）

強："When parents impose decisions without dialogue, young people feel they have no option but to rebel."（因果）

E — Example

來自小冊子的具體瞬間。永遠儘量給頁碼——表示你讀得仔細。

弱："…and we see this in the play."（無具體瞬間）

強："In the play, on P.10, Lord Capulet forces Juliet to marry Paris within days; he doesn't even ask her."（具體 + 頁）

L — Link（推分的關鍵！）

多數學生忘掉這部分。Link 問："So what？對今天為什麼重要？"

弱："And that's the lesson."（無連結）

強："This is exactly what happens today in Hong Kong when parents push specific university degrees…"（現代 + 具體）

🎯 P.E.E.L 只修一處：加 Link。這是從 4 分到 5 分最常見的路徑。

自查缺哪個部分

每次練習答案後，問自己：

• 缺 P？ "我的真正陳述是什麼？"
• 缺第一個 E？ "我有解釋為什麼我的陳述成立嗎？"
• 缺第二個 E？ "我有提到小冊子的具體瞬間嗎？"
• 缺 L？ "我有連結到今天的世界嗎？"

任何答 "no" → 加上重做。5–10 次後 P.E.E.L 自動化。

小組互動 P.E.E.L 變體

小組討論裏你常回應別人然後加你的 P.E.E.L。兩種常見變體：

變體 1："建立 + P.E.E.L"

"Building on Aisha's point about Lady Macbeth's manipulation, I'd add that ambition has a cost on both sides. [P] Lady Macbeth seems unstoppable in Act 2, but by Act 5 she can't sleep. [E] This shows that even the strongest manipulator can't escape her own conscience. [E] On P.5, she sleepwalks and washes invisible blood from her hands. [L] In modern terms, this is what mental health experts call moral injury — the long-term cost of doing something we know is wrong."

變體 2："問題 + P.E.E.L"

"Can I ask the rest of the group — do you think Macbeth really had a choice? [P] My take is that he did. [E] If fate truly controlled him, then Banquo, who received the same prophecy, would also be a murderer. [E] But on P.1, Banquo just smiles and says nothing — he chose differently. [L] This is exactly how it works today: the same toxic advice can land in two people's ears, and only one acts on it. That's choice, not fate."

常見 P.E.E.L 錯誤

錯 1：以 Example 開頭

弱："On P.5, Lady Macbeth sleepwalks. This shows guilt. Today, mental health is important."

為何弱：開頭無清晰 Point，Link 籠統。

修：P 開頭，L 結尾。

錯 2：P.E.E.L 太長（3 分鐘）

• 8–12 分鐘 + 3–4 人。你的 P.E.E.L 3 分 = 吃了別人一半時間。
• 目標：每個 P.E.E.L 30–60 秒。
• 太長就砍 Explanation — 例子常自帶説服力。

錯 3：籠統 Link

弱："This is still important today because life is hard."

強："This is exactly what happens to Hong Kong students whose parents pick their DSE subjects for them — the resentment doesn't come from the choice, it comes from being unheard."

具體 Link 永遠勝過籠統。

錯 4：每句都 P.E.E.L

• 不是每個回合都需完整 P.E.E.L。短回應（"That's a great point, especially because…"）也展示 交流策略 (II)。
• 目標：每人 8–12 分鐘裏 2–3 個完整 P.E.E.L。其餘可短。

錯 5：例子錯（情節錯）

• Example 含情節錯（如"Lady Macbeth 親手殺 Duncan"）→ 削弱整答。
• 核對 Books 頁面 直到你確信。
